Alicia Smith resides in Santa Fe, NM and is a lawyer by education, having established a profession in public policy, functioning first for the State of Florida and then at the national level as Staff Director of Human Sources at the Governors’ Association. This exciting year of transition coincides with Futures for Childrens 45 Year Anniversary, which will be commemorated with an Open Home Celebration on September 22, 2013. Attendees will be treated to an afternoon of food, beverages, Native entertainment, and an auction of American Indian art. Participants will also have an opportunity to meet with board members as the celebration is scheduled to be held in conjunction with the September Board of Directors meeting.
