According to the Complaint, the Plaintiff began taking Actos to treat his Variety 2 diabetes in November 2008. In January 2010, he was diagnosed with bladder cancer. He died in October 2012, allegedly due to the fact of Actos side effects. The lawsuit filed on his behalf alleges that the Defendants knew about the threat of bladder cancer but did not disclose this details to customers in order to protect economic interests.
