Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers to Honor Pittsburgh Lawyer Veronica A. Richards

Veronica A. Richards, Esq. of Richards &amp Richards, LLP, Pittsburgh, will be awarded the 2013 Milton D. Rosenberg award by the Pennsylvania Association for Justice (PAJ), the states biggest trial lawyer association, at its annual Retreat in Bedford Springs, PA on Saturday June 29.

This award is provided to a trial lawyer whose devotion to injured victims and qualities of leadership and service greatest represent the life of the late previous PAJ president following whom the award is named.

Richards is the managing partner of the law firm of Richards &amp Richards, LLP. She received her BSN in 1978 and a JD in 1989 from Duquesne University. She also received a Masters Degree in Hospital Administration and a Masters Degree as a Clinical Nurse Practitioner in 1983. She entered the practice of law after spending over ten years in the wellness care field as a Clinical Hospital Administrator and as a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner.

A compassionate advocate for the mentally disabled, Richards serves on the board of Our Personal Home, which is a charity devoted to delivering housing and employment possibilities for the mentally ill. Our Own Home has a waiting list of over 200 people that face mental well being challenges and want to work in their vocational program.
