Robert Tagalicod, Director, Office of EHealth Standards and Solutions, Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), released a statement in the July 1 CMS eHealth News Updates eNewsletter praising WEDIs progress on the 2013 WEDI Report. The report aims to recognize the impacts of administrative and clinical technologies on the healthcare business and the probably role of emergent technologies. Tagalicod serves as one particular of the 15 members of the 2013 WEDI Report Executive Steering Committee, led by former Secretary of HHS, The Honorable Louis W. Sullivan, M.D.

The WEDI Report Executive Steering Committee met in April 2013 to talk about the concerns and identify megatrends that need to be addressed in the 2013 WEDI Report.
